Privacy Policy

Effective July 8, 2026

The short version: your body scans, photos, and workout data stay on your iPhone unless you choose to upload them. Anything you do upload is stored under an anonymous customer number — never your name or birthday — and scans may be de-identified and combined into an aggregate database of body shapes that helps us make measurements more accurate. We don't run ads, we don't use third-party analytics or trackers, and we never sell your data.

Who we are

Camera, LiDAR, and body scans

The app uses your iPhone's camera and LiDAR sensor to capture photos, depth data, and body-pose information in order to build 3D body models and analyze squat form. All of this processing happens on your device. Scan images, 3D models, and squat videos are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone and are not transmitted anywhere unless you choose to share or upload them. Deleting a scan or session in the app deletes it from your device.

Apple Health

With your permission, the app reads limited data from Apple Health (weight, height, age, and biological sex) to personalize your scan metrics, and writes workout activity back to Apple Health. Health data is used only inside the app, is never sent to our servers or any third party, and is never used for advertising or marketing.

Strava

If you choose to connect a Strava account, the app uploads workout summaries you initiate (for example, a squat session's rep count and joint-angle averages) to Strava on your behalf. Strava's own privacy policy governs that data once it's there. You can disconnect Strava in the app at any time, which deletes the stored access tokens from your device.

Cloud uploads and how scans are stored

Nothing is uploaded automatically — data leaves your device only when you tap to upload a scan or session. When you do:

Uploads are de-identified. Your data is stored under a randomly generated customer number. Your name, birthday, email, and other identifying details are not attached to your scans or sessions.
Scans may join an aggregate shape database. De-identified scan geometry may be combined with other users' scans into a statistical database of human body shapes. We use this population data to make the app's measurements and progress tracking more accurate. Data in this database cannot be traced back to you.
You can delete your data. Email us with your customer number (shown in the app) and we'll delete your uploaded scans and sessions.

Photos

If you save a 3D model preview, it's written to your photo library with your permission. The app never reads your existing photos.

Analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising, no third-party analytics SDKs, and no trackers. Apple may provide us aggregate, anonymized statistics (such as crash reports and install counts) through App Store Connect if you've opted into sharing analytics with developers in iOS Settings.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date above. Material changes will be called out in the app's release notes.
